Counter to the global economic caution of recent months Elonics has seen growth in the development of its Asian markets and is pleased to announce the opening of Elonics’ first overseas office in Taiwan to support valued customers in the Greater China region.

Sam Lui has been appointed to the new post of Elonics Greater China Country Manager.  He joins Elonics with a strong track record having successfully developed sales, most recently for Wolfson Microelectronics and Austria Microsystems. Sam Lui will work with Elonics important first Taiwanese and Chinese customers to provide tailored support and a seamless interface with Elonics application team and distributors.

As a leader in the development and supply of radio frequency (RF) IC products, market interest across Greater China follows the launch in Q4 2008 of the E4000, which is believed to be the world’s lowest power DVB-T/H terrestrial broadcast radio frequency (RF) tuner.
